    Default New Beekeeper needs info

    Hello,

I am new to beekeeping and I was wondering how long after you order nucleus hives
should you expect to receive them. I ordered 2 nucs from a supplier and have yet to receive them. That was about 2 months ago, I have tried to call them, no return calls. I will say that I have received an email stating due to weather issues there was a delay
but that it should be resolved by the weekend that was two weeks ago. Just curious, is this typical or have I been taken. Thanks for any input.

It is typical to let you know when they expect to deliver them and then update you if there are delays. Bee's are not an assembly line product, but there is no reason you shouldn't get a estimate of when they expect to have them. Ordering them with no planned delivery date IMO would not be normal.
