advice pls: hive swarmed, in nearby home
hive swarmed Tuesday 5/1, moved too quickly to retrieve from a low branch, to a very high (over 100 feet) branch in a different tree, above a home. Hive moved into attic of home within 2 hours of swarming, just discovered them in the home today, 36 hours later.
I have access to a bee vacuum, have never used one, it is hot here, not sure what I will find when I go in home tomorrow with vacuum. Will they be clustered? they appear to be flying around 2nd story, assume they are in attic.
will it be obvious where cluster/queen is? is it likely I'll be able to remove them? Any advice appreciated, I have trapped swarms out of trees but never a home.
