    Default Souper foundationless

New beekeeper, wanting to add my first super. I have all eight frams medium boxes. I also have drawn frames. I think I should alternate bare frames with drawn frames. What do you say.

Yes, alternate them. Your plan should guarantee you good straight foundationless comb. Go for it.

Extract those frames very slowly for a couple years.

I'm no expert but, in my experiance about half the time my bee's would over draw (make it wider than it should be) the existing comb and under draw the foundationless frame. Even with guides in the foundationless frame. All you can do is check it often. Hope it works for u.

Alternating only works for me if I put foundationless frames between CAPPED drawn comb. Whether it be honey or brood. Otherwise they do as Tom says.
