    Default emerging queens

    I find it interesting that when a queen is about to emerge, the bees thin down the end of the queen cell tip, but the queen has to chew her own way out, and the bees don't help her do it, or am I wrong? John

    You are correct! When you see bald cells better get them in a mating nuc soon or you won't like the results!
