    Default Eggs and royal jelly?

When do nurse bees start feeding royal jelly? Do they feed the eggs before they hatch or after?

An egg does not eat, so they start feeding after it hatches. They do add some to the cell to keep the egg moist.

When searching through cells for proper aged larvae for grafting, I have often seen small pools of royal jelly placed immediately adjacent to eggs, I assume, just before they hatch.
