Check on queen or no?
Installed my package 5 days ago. Haven't checked them yet because of the horrible cold and windy snap we've expereinced the past few days. I really want to check on them but with winds gusting 20-30 and high temps in the low 50's, I'm thinking I might do more harm than good. Will it hurt to wait a couple more days?
I've been feeding them and they're consuming about a half a quart a day so I know they're eating at least.

The wind isn't really an issue but your temps are, in my opinion, close to my cut off point. Are they flying?

Yes they're flying but not as much as they were when I installed them and it was sunny and 75° for the first couple of days. (Of course)
It's supposed to be back up in the 70's but raining Thursday and sunny 80's on Saturday.
