screen size for bottom boards

Does anyone know what size hardware cloth you're supposed to use for screened bottom boards? I think it's 1/8 but I'm not sure.

Yes, 1/8" or 8 mesh hardware cloth is something of a standard.

After buying some from a local hardware (NOT big box!) for a top bar hive, I noticed my package bees came in boxes with #8 screen. It can be removed and sewn together with wire for bigger pieces. Handy for making all sorts of stuff; I ended up using it for bird/squirrel sunflower seed feeders with rain-draining screened bottoms.
