Sounds norse. Are you sure it wasn't fabrikken?

Common name in Norway, probably the name of the smith who made it.

I posted a picture @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/6028350...th/6238747722/ of the smoker and the touchmark. I/m in the process of refurbishing, new leather for the bellows, hinge repair etc.
