    Default Grandson and Stingy

I had put some open queen mail gages in the tool box on my truck. I found bees had found the candy that was left and were inside the cage. I released all but one and gave it to him. He was terrified of bees before we began keeping them. Well yesterday he carried stingy to his first grade classroom. They were just a cork pull away from meeting stingy face to face. As my grandmother would say. " Why didn't you just get him a box of hand grenades.

My son (2nd grade) brought a piece of messed up comb I cut out of a hive to school yesterday. No bees on it but he certainly is proud of our new hobby.

Great idea! I will send him with some. When I get some comb honey he could educate the class with something Stingy made.

Th best thing would be to catch some drones to send in the queen cage, that way if they do get out no chance of stings.

My dad's best friend grew up in rural Oklahoma. To amuse themselves as kids and make a little money, they would hunt for feral hives in the forest to collect the honey. His favorite practical joke was to collect a jar of drones and then release them indoors to frighten other children.

We gave all our kids teachers jars of honey for teacher appreciation week. Really made the kids popular.

aww, everyone knows hand grenades aren't nearly as much fun as a flying stinging machine!
You and your grandson have a great thing going, keep it up!

Don't forget to give him a piece of new tender honey-filled comb to chew like gum! What kid doesn't like gum!
