Default New kelley bottom boards with #6 screen

I bought 10 new bottom boards with #6 screen instead of #8. My hope was to kill Hive beetles. The beetles are going thru but the Pam spray isn't killing them (not unexpected). The pull out is a plastic cardboard. Has anyone tried using diatomaceous earth to kill these pest?

They will carry it back up into the hive, might cause trouble.

An oil tray will work better, but that may be a hassle with the Kelley stands.

The Butter PAM kills larva for wax moths and beetles but not adult beetles.

maybe a piece of sticky fly paper, who knows the scent might even attract a few down to the bottom. (keep bees away from it)
