Hi, I'm attempting to make a compilation of carniolon and new world carniolon queen suppliers, if you know of others please post them.
Here's the ones I know of

    :Olivarez
: supplier simply listed as "Australian queens"
: supplier listed as "Chilean queens"
    :Glenn apiaries
    :Koehnen
    :Kona
    :Honey run apiaries
    :Russell Apiaries
: not exactly sure, but I would assume Sue Cobey has some
    :Adem Ebert
    :I think Michael Palmer
:I'm pretty sure Oldtimer rears carniolons

I don't know where BetterBee gets their NWC queens. They only reference that the came from the Sue Cobey line from the 80s on their website I think.

Nice effort: "Attempting compilation of Carniolan queen suppliers" -- I've avoided the darker bees, like Carniolan, for now. I am in a very hot climate with intense sunlight. I anticipate that my climate would be inappropriate for such dark colored bees, considering solar gain. However, if I ever manage to get an outyard I will give them a go. I'm thinking, once Russell Apiaries "perfects" their Moonbeam strain, I'll see if I can establish an outyard to raise me some Moonbeam queens.

I've never thought of the heat gain from them being darker, here heat isn't too much of a worry, we rarely get to 100 F. Winters are severe here, and carniolons are more frugal, which is why I prefer them over italians. I'm hoping they start allowing Russell to ship to Canada, I want to try Moonbeams as well.
