a good candy to feed nuc

I would like to know of a good candy that would take care of one deep frame of brood/covered with bees. have homemade frame feeder with damp sugar now sugar/water started robbing so i had to stop saw someone on youtube putting candy feeder in mateing nuc but they didnt say what it was thanks if anyone knows of one

You probably do not need to feed much if any. If you do use sugar water. Close up entrance to protect. 3/8 entrance is enough. Screen another opening to vent. I have sometimes used a divider board close to the frame. Raise it up a little with a stick and feed with a small jar on sticks on other side. cover with ply or cloth so you can open one side. They stay calm.

I have not tried, but some advocate robber screens for nuc.
