how long can old combs/ frames, sit without being used and then being able to use them again? or is it just better to put new foundation in them?

they will be dry and break easy with you finger. hard to give an age as this depends on their age and being stored wet or dry.

they were stored dry, ya some break easy. but can the bees fix them? would it help to spray the combs with sugar water?

we have used some pretty bad looking combs on to be reconditioned that came out great. the secret is not to put them on until a really good honey flow.
