    Question Smelly Sugar Syrup

Hello, I was just wondering if I could feed my bees some sugar syrup that I made a couple weeks ago. The syrup was mixed with some vinegar and it now smells like rotting soil and that kind of stuff. Can I feed it to my bees, will it do them any bad to them. TIA!!

If it smells bad I wouldn't feed it to them. Of course if I mix up sugar water and for some reason I can't feed it to them within just a day or so I pour that out and start new. Of course that is just me.

Throw it onto your compost pile to jump-start the microflora!
