Been seeing some different maple varieties bloom. Too cold for them to get to the trees though.

New clover in bloom after a very wet spell.
No one has yet found the menthas (catnip, motherwort, etc.). Very odd.

Went to the wood stack and couldn't believe what I saw when I looked up.
Incredibly early-giant Gallberry at least a month earlier than I have ever seen. Swamp maple already done. My hive numbers are not up enough yet to get excess honey so I may be making bees this year instead of honey but we will see.
"Zone 8" but more like zone 9 & always has been warmer than 8
