I am visiting and I saw a bee on a silver maple. Aspen and I believe a hackberry were also in bloom. Hoping to find my bees getting real pollen 250 miles northwest when I get home.

Soft(red) Maples. Full development. Swamps look red from a distance. Most hives have close to frame of bright yellow pollen, nectar flow also.
