I believe this is for the whole state.... Mimosa (Silk Trees) are all over the place and have been popping up for about a week. Not sure if the bees take to them but if they do there is plenty of it to go around currently.

My bees were all over a few maple trees here in East TN today. I am not really sure what my normal time is for maple bloom. Walt? I am very close to your area as far as time frame.

First dandelion today-- 72 degrees last Friday, low of 15 tonight.
A flowering quince bush is in full bloom--last year I logged them on 3/11. Don't have a clue what that means!
