I read this site by using the What's new link. I usually have about 2 and a half pages of topics but do not have the time to set and read every thread on the list in one setting. The problem is if I am away from the computer for to long the list is updated automatically. I then loose everything but the last dozen posts or so.
I don't know if it is this site that is doing the updating or my browser, But does anyone know how to shut it off? I do not like my computer thinking for me in any way and I really don't appreciate it loosing information for me cause it thinks it knows better than I do. It will not always be true that I will want to read every single thread. But for now as I am just learning, I never know where the next nugget of information will pop up.

I appreciate any suggestions anyone has on how to stop the site from being updated without my consent.
