Smalltimer Marketing tip
I have been dragging my feet on marketing my first honey crop in many years while busily making mead with it and giving it away to friend and family. A friend in another city told me he was selling on Craigs List which I have sold cars on but never thought of for pitching honey. I can write a good add I guess because my inbox is flooded. I can see my prices are too low and I will be sold out too soon. I have been agonizing over a competitive price and find almost instantly that the people who maintain that you are selling an idea and a beautiful wholesome one, not just sticky sweetener, are on the right track. If you have forgotten Craigs list,it might prove to be a good outlet for you others with less than commercial crops. And the price is right, it is free.

I've sold bee equipment on CL but never thought about honey. Good tip Vance!
