Default can we crowd sourced swarm map ?

I know it's been discussed before but nobody seemed to be able to find a user friendly way for everyone to participate. I THINK I have found a simple solution. Beesource admin could easily create a map and imbed it here and anyone who spots a swarm can add their location. No need for addresses just county and state. Once people start using this we should see the swarm urge move north and when people start seeing them in their area, they know it's time. What do you think Barry? Is this something we can do? Seems simple enough, but then again Im not a website wiz Here is the mapping site

If this is something you don't want to take on Barry, there is an online version where users would have to follow a link. I can try to create one and make a thread that could possible be a sticky?

That is a great idea Harley, a visual progression of the march of the swarm season. Good thinking.

I'll check it out and determine if or how it would work in the forums.

We are doing something similiar in Palm Beach County. Our club keeps track of member placed swarm traps and how often swarms move in utilizing google maps. I believe it's about to start its 3rd year. It has been interesting.. I think there may even be a grant involved. Here's the link.
