    Looks totally impractical to me.
So...your are supposed to drill a hole through your sealed double-pane glass window and then hang this incredibly heavy occupied colony there on the now-structurally-compromised glass? The bees will like being in the blasting sun there, or against the freezing glass in the winter? Then when they attach their comb to the inside walls of the plastic egg cover (which they inevitably will do), how are you then supposed to remove the cover without pulling comb apart? ...And a little puff of smoke is going to keep the thousands of bees from flying all over your house once you rip the cover off and have comb dripping everywhere and angry bees? Or maybe get a bigger smoker and fill your house with smoke? And how would you get the bees back into their hive once they're flying angrily all over your house?...take the cover off again to throw them back in as fast as you can?

It's no wonder they don't show one of these things in actual operation. I wonder if they tested it at all?

I like the 'food supply' shown in the form of the little pot of flowers. I wonder how those people living in that highrise building are going to water the flowers...lol!

Yikes, are they asking people to fork over big money for these things?

It doesn't have to hold bees. It only has to sell several thousand overpriced units to people who don't know any better. That is the probably the objective of the booster.

Are these the same people that make the cheap, junky radios and CD players that you find at dollar stores? The ones where the CD goes out a week after you buy it?

I get a kick out of the flower pot.

This isn't a top bar hive is it? Doesn't look like it's really been tried yet. No pictures of bees using it.

Totally conceptual, if you read the fine print. And maybe it should stay that way -- it does look like it would be hard to care for and manage.

In addition to the flower pot, which is a cute but completely impractical touch, did y'all see the "smoke actuator" at the bottom of the hive? I guess you pull the cord to smoke the bees. Huh.
