    Default Apilife Var treatment question.

I am about to treat my hive with apilife Var for the first time. This is my first year in beekeeping. I performed the drop test for 72 hours and found several hundred mites on the board. I have 4 hives 3 of which has a screened bottom board. I did the sugar shake test on the hive with the solid bottom board and come up with 12 mites in about a 300 bee sampling. I assume this would indicate the need for treatment according to what I have read. I have one hive that only had 30 mites over a 72 hour period. I do not intend on treating that hive. My hives are 2 deeps with no supers on them. Hives are a little lite so I am feeding them now with top feeders. The highs in georgia are still in the upper 70s to low 80s. Should I place the treatment according to the directions on top of the top deep or should I put the treatment between the two deeps? I would rather simply place the treatment on top of the frames on the top deep only if it is feasible. Also, can I continue to feed with the top feeders during the treatment? I have read that some do not recommend feeding while treating. Thanks in advance!

No dont put between brood boxes, must go on the top brood box. And you can feed but i dont they will take it while there being treated, if they do it may a couple weeks.
