Default Apiguard treatment two years in a row

I live where it is very hot all year long which keeps the mite levels down significantly when it hits 120, and I usually only have to treat once a year in the fall like I did last year. I have a lot of apiguard left over I was wondering if you guys think it would be ok to use it again this year, then use formic acid strips next year. Or will this cause mite resistance in the future when using apiguard. Should you rotate treatments every year or do you think using the same treatment in this case should be ok?

Apiguard has shown no signs of resistance in years of studies as it is not a medication but rather a fumagant....

Agreed, go ahead and use it. No known data on resistance but it is always good the treat only when needed do have a plan to use another control method if needed.

Resistance usually does not occur with a couple season but with decades of use, as a rule.

Thanks guys appreciate the feedback, had good results with apiguard so it's good news on the pocket book since I bought way more than enough last year, and for my bees since it seemed to work good, glad to hear I can use it again this year.
