If you mean Mite Away Quick Strips (MAQS), i believe that it's published that you can just leave them in and the bees will chew them up over time. The folic acid evaporates out after a few days, leaving the inert paper (or whatever it is) behind.

I treated my two hives with MAQS two weeks ago and haven't opened them since, though I plan to do so this weekend.

Bison is correct. The instructions with the MAQS indicate that you can remove what is left after 7 days, but if you leave it there the bees will haul it out on their own.
