    Default Introduction

    Hello,
    My name is Marisa. I'm a first year backyard beekeeper in Groton, Ma. I have one hive.
    My father kept bees when I was a child and I have taken a beekeeping course, but still feel like a complete amateur when it comes to the hobby. I joined the site, so that I could gather more information and ask questions when I am perplexed.. which is often.

    Welcome aboard Marisa! If you have bees you're *way* ahead of me. I'm working on my bee education and will be moving my bees to the house early this spring. You have some bee history in your family which has to be a good thing!

    Hello and Welcome!

    I'm sure you'll find this forum to be an informative site to learn more about bees and beekeeping. I particularly like the 'search' function since I can often find instant answers to questions in previous threads.
