    Default Michigan newbee blundering along!

Finishing a fascinating first summer under the direction of the old hands from the Southeast Michigan Beekeeping Assn. class for beginners. My hive was far less productive than most, but going to give it a go at keeping it alive this winter. Moving the hive from the class grounds to my backyard tomorrow morning....nervous, but excited! Looking forward to sharing on this site.....

Welcome Hugh. What's your story? What got you interested in owning honeybees?
