Feeding survey

I live in Tallahassee Florida, I have 2 first year hives and we've had a drought this year. I've been supplementing the bees with sugar syrup and am about to install pollen patties. I wanted to know what everyone else is doing, feeding and for how long? Thanks! Lisa

Drought here too were nearly 10" behind on rain fall for the year. I started feeding my 10 first year hives 1:1 Sunday. Two of the ten are splits I made July 19 and are not that strong and were one reason I started feeding. The other the drought. They have nearly consumed 5 gallons of syrup and I will continue to feed until they stop hitting it so hard.https://picasaweb.google.com/1134009...eat=directlink

Thanks--just looking for some compasses in the drought! I think this is a really unusual time and it's tough to figure out what's normal!
