I think I have laying workers. The hive went queenless and rather than moving a frame of eggs from our other hive I waited until I could get a Russian hybrid. When I went to introduce the new queen today I found eggs- most cells have 2-3 eggs, some up to 5 eggs, and a few cells have only 1 egg. I guess my question is whether this is definately laying workers or could there have been a new queen I overlooked who has just now mated and does not have her egg laying legs under her yet?
