Anyone else using hivetracks.com to log inspection data and such? I am, it is a great resource. I want to know when they are implementing their andriod app. Check it out if you haven't already.

I am a first year beek - to me, hivetracks will become more valuable as time goes on as I can view success and failure to enhance better hive management and avoid the stupid mistakes I have made this year...too many to remember without extra record keeping...
Is therea cost to use this service?
No, I don't believe so.

"Hive Tracks was born out of a passion for beekeeping.
Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the Henson and Wilkes families are the driving force behind it. We have extensive experience in both computer science and beekeeping. Our goal is to provide a service to the world wide beekeeping community which is unmatched in ease of use and value (its FREE!) More that just a website, Hive Tracks is a powerful application where your beekeeping records are accessible and secure."
I am a new beek but use it for my hives. I have not had the opportunity as of yet to record any production of honey, but I think it is great. I have established some very good records for next year. i wish my bees were so efficient.
Thanks so much for pointing out this valuable resource!![]()
2 hives of Russians. 32 stings. 1 season of experience. And you-- yeah, you right there-- you're my mentor. XD
I use hivetracks I also understand that they are using the info to help with CCD. You do not need to have a large amount of hives to use it, I started with 1 and now have 3. Any info will help. I believe there was a article about it in American bee journal.

Looks like cool resourse. I started to use beetight.com which also a cool record keeping tool.
Been using Hive Tracks for a while. Good resource. Especially free! Brushy mountain has 2 videos that show how to use it that was made by the developers and they are free also. You can print your records out also which is nice.
