    Default Queen cell

    I have had my hive since 15 of may and today i found the beginnings of a queen cell should i be worried ? I looked for the queen but could not find her but i diid find eggs a whole frame full. My bees are carniolan if that matters .

    if you have eggs are they single one egg to each cell ....if so then your queen Or at least a queen has been in there within the last 3 days ...eggs hatch in 3 days and unless there is multiple eggs per cell then you queen is fine I would say ...

    When you say Queen Cell..... do you mean just a plain empty cell.... or you mean with larvae in it, a capped cell....??

    I have Queen Cells being made all time on bottom of frames but they are empty. it seems they just like making cells "just in case" but don't do anything with them...
