    Default Introducing Virgins

For a number of reasons, some intentional, I have virgins emerging in the "hair roller" protective cages. Now I need to introduce them to my mating nucs. Anybody do anything special with virgins, or do you simply cage them normally and introduce normally?

I never had very good luck introducing virgins. It works sometimes but not sometimes. Here's what the classic books say:

Yes, I've had to introduce more virgins in cages this year than in the past. So far so good. Started leaving them for 3 days vs. in the past I released them after 24 hours. It's nice to see them just walk right out after that length of time.
