crystallized supers
I bought out another beekeeper and got 30-40 full supers of crystallized honey mostly from dead-outs and supers he was keeping for spring feeding.
I used some of the frames for spring splits and chopped up some bad ones and put them in top feeders but I still have a lot left. I have tried putting a couple of uncapped frames into each super which sort of worked but this is not fast enough.
I was thinking about putting a full super on the bottom board under the brood nest and hoping they would bring it up.
I am NOT worried about diseases.
I will NOT put them out to be robbed.
What have you done to get the crystallized honey out so the supers are usable again?
