After inspection yesterday, one the girls landed on my hand and hung out long enough for some pictures.

It seems that every time I do an inspection or just pull up a lawn chair to stare at the hives the Italians always land on me and stay. I've gotten into the habit of hanging my bee brush next to my chair because they won't get off of me when it's time to go. The Carnies never land on me and stay. They will look at me for a few seconds and then fly off. The Italians just love to hang out!!

I love them. They always seem more curious than agitated when I do an inspection and I always have to watch that I'm not taking any home with me in the car afterwards.
