    Question Honey harvesting question

We have been harvesting our honey whenever we find a frame of fully capped honey.

Does it make any difference if you do it that way as opposed to waiting for a full super of honey. Because we process our honey by the crush and strain method, it is better for my wife and I to do it a few frames at a time instead of whole boxes.

    Thanks!

The best way is what works for you. Sometimes I rob a couple of frame for home use and then harvest the rest later. Jim

Thanks, Jim. Makes sense to me. I guess that those with extractors would never want to do it this way, but for us C&S people, sometimes it's better not to "bite off more than we can chew."
