    Default Split and cell question.

In about a month I plan to make up about 10 nucs to overwinter. I plan to start by adding a queen cell (which I plan to make as per Oldtimers method) to two frames of brood and put each in a five frame nuc to start with.
Will the nucs automatically start making queen cells as they will be queenless until the nuc emerges? Does the scent of the queen cell inhibit the emergency queen making urge at all?

If you put the cells in on day 14 from when the egg was laid (day ten from when it was grafted) it will emerge in two days. I haven't had issues with them making another queen under those circumstances.
