Queen less hive

I have a queen less hive and no brood. I have had the package bees for 2½ weeks. I ordered a new queen due to arrive today but she wasn’t shipped. I feel like time is running out for these bees. I can buy a Nuc and have it ready to go tomorrow. Should I order the Nuc and introduce it or forget it for this year….

Well if you buy a nuc you can always give the queenless hive a frame with eggs in it and hope they will raise a queen. If the hive does not raise a queen you can then just combine them.

Try gathering up a little patience. Wait for the queen and install her by pulling the candy plug to give them a few days to get used to her.
