Default Swarms have been huge this year!

This is only my 2nd one this year so far. But the 2 so far have been the biggest I have ever collected. Got this one last night. After all said and done they filled up a 1/3 of the box of a 5 frame nuc. Looks like a piles of dead bees on the first pic. But they were alive and well. It was cold and rainy here yesterday. Around 48 deg and misty when I got them last night.

Hammy! What's up? Have not talked to ya in a while.

Sure seems like the swarms have been a bit larger here in my area too, I've only used a nuc on 1, all the others would not have fit. I've even had a couple that filled a 10 frame deep.

Sorry bro; but that is not a huge swarm.

I am so proud of all I did to replenish the feral empty tree holes & etc. Can I take a write off.

Still haven't seen a swarm yet! But all four of my hives are doing great so far - they are all up to 4 supers tall, one is 5 tall so I'm happy.

So THAT'S where all the swarms went! I have hardly had ANY this year, and the wind has been blowing steadily out of the south at 25-35 mph for WEEKS!

Hambone, I want my swarms back! Please send them back, accompanied by rain!
