Capped brood or whatever?

I'm a first timer . I just put my nucs in the hives and the frames are loaded with capped something. It is very dark in color, what am I seeing? Also there is a fair amount of pollen.

Couldn't find the queen, but frankly I didn't linger very long looking.

Probably honey since it takes 9 days before brood is capped.

But AB, nucs should come w/ capped brood. So, if trhe caps in question are below the Pollen, then it is brood.

If you got nucs with dark comb, the brood caps are dark in color as well. New comb will have lighter brood cappings. Scrape the cap on one and see.
