JZBZ Cup Use

Simple question (I hope).

Do you transfer the larvae directly into the JZBZ cup? Are they pre-waxed or do you insert a wax cup of some kind into them? I would think the bees would reject just a plastic cup (although all the post seem to indicate otherwise).

I use them right out of the box. I tend to reuse them and then they have more "bee smell" on them. The bees work them fine almost all the time. No wax involved.

After attaching them to the cell bar I place them in the hive 24 hrs before grafting. I recently started brushing wax on the edges and it seems to increase takes slightly.
