Hello from Northern British Colombia, Canada
Hello All,
last year in July, I decided to take a beekeeping course, basically I am addicted to honey, love all things natural and live on 350 acres surrounded by crown land that has been without any form of pesticide etc for over 50 years, so I couldn't imagine a better place for a couple of hives . We still have snow on the ground and our winters are long , cold and very harsh, not the ideal place for bees to live. Our hives made it through the winter and are now desperate for the odd dandelion to show its head. I never thought I would ever say that.
Well, as you all know bee hives are like potato chips , you cant just have one or two , so I now have five hives. Electric fence is up to keep the bears and cattle out .
I look forward to learning more about bees and I hope I dont become too much of a nucience with all of my question.
