surroundings

Since this deals with bee behavior and bee biology, I decided to post the following thread under bee breeding. If human beings are thinking, conscience, and aware of their surroundings. Thus we can change our surroundings at will. Then are bees thinking, conscience and aware of their surrounds?? Can they change the environment around them??? Are they just little robots just doing what is genetically programed in them??? This should be a fun and interesting thread. TED

I must of had, Barry, but the ability to change their environment around them outside the hive is more of what I am after. I Know of the experiments that show they are "thinking" creatures. Still let see where thread goes. TED
