Commercial hives in Cuero, TX?
I was driving today between (roughly) Yoakum and Cuero and Highway 111 in south central Texas. Betwixt Terryville and Stratton, if your GPS is that precise. Maybe 5-10 miles west of US Highway 77.
I came across several truckloads of hives on pallets parked in empty pastures. They were commercial.
It's pretty darned dry around here right now (pray for rain!) but mesquite, yaupon and huisache (weesatch) are blooming.
I just wondered whose bees they were, and what other areas you work in? Just wanted to get to know you! First time I've seen anything like this around here.
