swarm swarmed

was filling feeders this morning and heard a loud hum. looked over and saw a cloud of bees settling on my tree. I had just checked all my established hives, no signs of swarm or queen cells. after they settled down I noticed my new hive from the 7kb swarm i caught friday had very little activity. yep, they absconded. put them in a different box with some LGO next to where they swarmed at. they went through almost a quart of 1-1 syrup since sat morning and only built a tiny sliver of comb before absconding.

Man that sucks, hope that your able to keep them in another hive.

I always put some drawn comb in with a swarm never have them entirely on foundation and wouldn't put them in a box with just empty frames either.
