It is henbit, but I'm not sure if it's good for bees (maybe it is, since we have many acres of it around here)
I think it it nick named " Creeping Charlie " !!!
It is a weed that will take over a garden or even a lawn if you don't control it in some fashon.
Never really see bees work it & yes we have a lot of bees that sit on this stuff.
I have a yard full of Henbit and Purple Dead Nettle. The bees will work both but they don't work it every day, sort of hit and miss.
I agree, it is Henbit. Bees gather a lot of pollen from it. When working it you will see an orange-red dot of pollen on their foreheads.
