What is this?

Is this what they call Henbit and is it good for bees? Thanks

It is henbit, but I'm not sure if it's good for bees (maybe it is, since we have many acres of it around here )

I think it it nick named " Creeping Charlie " !!!
It is a weed that will take over a garden or even a lawn if you don't control it in some fashon.
Never really see bees work it & yes we have a lot of bees that sit on this stuff.

I have a yard full of Henbit and Purple Dead Nettle. The bees will work both but they don't work it every day, sort of hit and miss.

I agree, it is Henbit. Bees gather a lot of pollen from it. When working it you will see an orange-red dot of pollen on their foreheads.
