    Sad Snowshoes

I had to buy snowshoes to prune my apple orchard!!
I mean really. Last year I couldn't prune due to snow
depth. Some of the 8 foot trees only have a foot
    sticking out of the snow!!

It is late to get to pruning, but the shoes came today
so I am going to have a go at them. Just not prune
    to severely this year.

Snowshoes.......... go figure. I got some MSR Evo's
pretty darn cheap on Amazon Warehouse. Good shoes.

I've been using snowshoes to get out to check some of my hives. Road will be impassible for some time to come.

I had shorts, shirt and sandals and went and checked on my bees today. Watched them bringing in pollen, and flowers are starting to bloom...at least dandelions...lol. Snowshoes...can't imagine what that would be like.

Until you get really good at wearing them, you crush a lot of dandelions.

Bear Paws would not get to many but Minnesota trail shoes will get more. Jim
