Has anyone pulled the box of a box truck
to make a bee hauler?? They seem to be
plentiful and priced right.

plus have the box for storage or whatever
The first bed that I had custom built cost me $100.00 per foot. The last one was much more. I forget how much. Maybe $150.00 or $200.00.

I bought the box off an NPR Isuzu from somebody that wanted to build a flatbed, got a 14' box with roll up door and an over box storage platform with ladder for 200.00!!! Only catch was I had to remove the box, It was way easier than I imagined I should have used a torch and blew the bolts off, but just using hand tools and an afternoon, I unbolted the box then jacked it up with a hi lift bumper jack so it was 4 inches above the frame blocked it up with cribbing then VERY carefully drove out from under it. Then slowly corner to corner lifted, pulled out wood next corner lifted pulled out wood etc. etc. about eight times around and wallah it is now on 6x6 PT beams full of bee stuff![]()

I was thinking of removing only the top of the
box. Leaving the floor intact. I would think the
floor has to be plenty sturdy enough for bee
pallets.
I do spray on truck bed liners on the side and
would spray the deck with that.
But I would only do this if the price difference between
the flatbed and box truck were significant (couple grand
at least).
Then I'd drop the box on a slab.
