One of the other foums that I go to has a Tutorial fourm Of great threads. That have been cleaned up as far as the junk things that have been add. I am thinking of Oldtimer's thread Raising Queen Cells Without Grafting as a starting one. Others to be add after it has ran it course.

This has been discussed before and I still think it would be a great idea. I just don't have the time to put it together.

It would take someone to search the archives, copy links to the various topics, and organize them into a nice FAQ. At that time, editing can be done on the threads to clean them up if needed.

This list can then be posted, probably in the Welcome forum or Rules and Announcements Forum.

An example. I typed in "pollen patty recipe" in the search field on the home page (www.beesource.com).

Many pages come up, but just on the first page, I get these threads:

Because there are so many threads on this topic, one would have to sift through the threads and pull out the recipes along with pertinent discussion pertaining to each, if there is some. One of the threads has a place to buy egg yolks, etc. If we can get the core info out of these and into a single page of information, it would be really nice to point someone to it when THAT question comes up again. I don't think have just one thread singled out as THE thread on any topic will work. It would be better to merge the information from several threads into one.

I'm working on pollen patties. How about feeding syrup? We always get threads on "how do I make sugar water syrup?" 2:1, 1:1? Lots out there on this.

Lobo, please work on Syrup...let me get my club program written (I waited to the last minute) and then i will have more time. Told Barry I will start on equipment manufacture, Specifically Bottoms/pallets, always start from the bottom up!
