Bearding this time of year ?

Just walked around the yard and noticed my bees are bearding at the entrance of one of my hives.
Never noticed them doing this this time of year or at these temps
It's about 65F in Pensacola FL. at 8:30pm
Good strong colony that over-wintered well.
Two deeps and just added an empty super yesterday.
Any thoughts ?

Helped a commercial guy make 42 splits this Sunday in Marianna Fl. then moved them to Bay county to catch the tie tie flow. If ya have eggs and brood in both boxes or can arrange it so ya have eggs in both boxes make a walk away split as per M.B. @ Bush farms he tells ya how to do it step by step.
