first spring season on four hives. when should i first start seeing cell eggs in middle tn area.

Now...a good queen in a health hive will start a small patch in Jan round here and your zone should be the same.

Saw some in Central Arkansas on Saturday Feb. 19. Some capped and some uncapped.

northeast okla: 1 or 2 frames with a patch of brood in all 8 hives, Feb 19.

Another local beekeeper same on Feb 20. His hives had bigger patches of brood than mine, but he feeds more.

I'm 100 miles north, all mine have 3 to 5 frames of eggs and capped brood , lots of pollen coming in. Best wishes...

If the beginning of spring laying is a reaction to increasing daylight, then shouldn't everyone in the Northern hemisphere be seeing brood at this point?
