Here are a couple of pictures of my Megabee Feeders. It's not the most efficient way but they are fun to watch.
They cleaned them up in about 2 hours.

Clever idea and cool photos too! I can't wait to try that. Thanks for sharing.

Rkr,
Can you tell me if you used the power straight or did you make a syrup base and put that in the jars?
Thanks

Just the powder.
Last year they were in my bird feeder getting corn dust. So I put out some powder and they took too it.

I like your feeders.
I went with the bucket on its side method and over the last 3-4 weeks have consumed about 10 pounds of home mixed supplement but the last day or so not so many bees have been visiting. The old beeks say the maples are blooming and the bees like the maples better.

anyone know of pretty bee feeders
I like the gadoraid bottles ones but I would like to find some pretty per made ones sorta like bird feeders I might try selling them to people.
I would love it if I could convince my neighbors to put buckets of sugar out on there own Dime, and think a pretty feeder might help convence them something like a humming bird feeder.
Its just been running threw my head lately I think its from seeing humming bird feeders with guards to keep bees out.
Hey there:
I love this, now I need the feed recipe. Loved the photos, I'm making movie stars of my girls at work, too.
Please let me know the feed info if not a trade secret.
Thanks, and all the best,

No secret here. There are many recipe's on this forum if you do a search.
I used 8 parts of spent brewers yeast, 1 part soy flower, 1 part sugar (grind table sugar in the blender to get a fine power so it will mix. I also put a few crushed vitamin c tablets in the mix for fun. Mixed it up and fed it dry.
I wish I could say the bucket idea was mine but I picked it up on this forum a couple of years ago.
Just some thoughts.
